Meet Your Organizers
Devon Fegen-Herdman, MSSA
I have seen the positive impact minimalism, decluttering and home organization has had on my own life and I want to spread that joy and peace to others. My home has never been perfect and over time I have read many books, watched all the shows, listened to podcasts and more to learn all the tips and tricks to get my home under control. Now I am ready to share that magic with you.
Trained as a Social Worker
Although decluttering with others is a newer venture for me, working with and helping others has been my entire career. I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2005 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and have been working in the field ever since. I have extensive training and experience in home visits, working with clients, and helping people with change. I am attuned to my client’s emotions and will work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Although professional organizing is not a social work service (and these services are not being provided under my social work license), I consider it social work adjacent.
Experienced at working with Seniors
I worked at Hospice of the Western Reserve for many years meeting with folks in hospitals to complete admissions. I was an advanced certified hospice and palliative care social worker from 2010-2016. I always center the independence and wishes of the senior I am working with and am happy to communicate with other family members if requested. If you have medical or physical limitations that make decluttering difficult, I can easily adapt my assistance to fit your needs.
Skilled at managing ‘stuff’
I have years of work experience running a therapeutic art classroom at a mental health day treatment center. Cleaning, storing, preparing and maintaining the various art materials for up to 90 participants a week was a large portion of this work. It requires effective systems to be in place so that the space does not become cluttered and messy. Teaching participants easy-to-follow cleanup routines was a must.
I also co-founded a thrift store for art supplies (Upcycle Parts Shop it’s really awesome, you should check it out!) and continue to serve on the non-profit board. We developed systems to receive and sort material donations. We visited many area businesses and viewed their storage and disposal practices to identify usable items that could be pulled out of their waste streams and reused creatively. This was the ultimate crash course in how to manage many different items in a neat and organized way to prevent a cluttered look and feel in our storefront.
Cleveland native
I was born and raised in greater Cleveland and am happily settled in Avon where I live with my husband, 2 children, dog and cat. I love playing soccer, reading, making art, and camping with my family.
Declutter with Devon LLC is an elite professional organizer in the Avon, OH professional organizers directory on FindMyOrganizer.com.
Meet the Team
-

Lisa
ORGANIZER
I’m thrilled to join the Declutter With Devon team and bring my own passion for intentional living and order. I have 5 years of experience in the home organization industry, previously owning and operating my own small organizing business. Before that, I spent time in digital marketing, where I honed skills in communication, strategy, and detail-oriented project management, all of which translate beautifully into thoughtful, client-focused organizing work.
I especially love refreshing closets, and thrive when helping people transition through major life changes such as welcoming a new baby or helping a child head off to college. I believe a well-organized home helps clients feel calm, confident, and in control, and I’m dedicated to empowering them with systems that support their lifestyle long after I leave.
When I am not organizing you will most likely find me on a court or field cheering on my 13 year daughter and 11 year old son sports' teams, or tending to one of our 4 pets: a cat Queso, goldendoodle Chips, cavapoo Nacho, and bearded dragon Taco.

Maddi
ORGANIZER
Maddi is excited to join Declutter with Devon and bring her fresh perspective to the team. She comes from a strong retail background, particularly in second-hand goods, which gives her a unique appreciation for thoughtful styling and intentional spaces. Maddi believes organizing is both a mental reset and a physical refresh, and she loves helping clients create harmony in their homes.
Her passion for decluttering started early. Some of her favorite childhood memories include cleaning her bedroom with her sister.
A proud Cleveland native, Maddi grew up in North Olmsted and now lives in Rocky River with her fiancé and their cat.

Melinda
ORGANIZER
Hi, I’m Melinda—a mom of three with a passion for turning chaos into calm. I love helping people reclaim their spaces through decluttering, organizing, and thoughtful transformation so their homes feel more peaceful, functional, and aligned with the life they want to live. There’s nothing better than seeing someone take a deep breath and feel at ease in their space again.
When I’m not organizing and decluttering, you’ll usually find me spending time with my children, gardening, exploring the Metroparks, writing poetry, enjoying music, baking something delicious, or hosting an impromptu kitchen dance party. I believe our homes should support the life we want to live, and I love helping create spaces that do just that. -

Patty
ORGANIZER
Patty is excited to be joining the Declutter with Devon team. I was born to organize! I started very young, helping my mother organize her sewing materials and my belongings. I knew from a very young age that I would be a teacher, and I became a teacher. While teaching, I taught my student many life skills, and keeping their desk, lockers, and lives organized was one of them. I often say, “Let’s work smarter than harder”.
I enjoy helping people and making a difference. I am here to help you. I want to help you organize, purge, declutter, donate, and lift the weight or burden of what may be holding you down or back. I am here to listen and bounce ideas off of you or lend a helping hand. I am here to help you through the difficult decisions or give you that little push you may need to be more motivated. But know I am here for YOU, and you are amazing!
I am a proud mother of three wonderful adult children and a grandmother of two (so far). I live in Berea, but was raised on a farm in Columbia Station, where my parents still live. I help take care of both of my parents at the age of 91. I hope in the near future to have a rescue sanctuary with farm animals on it.

Cailee
ORGANIZER
Cailee has always been drawn to collaborative, creative work that combines problem-solving with thoughtful design. She earned her degree in Visual Communication Design and went on to gain experience across a range of fields, including higher education, coaching, business management, professional organizing, and event planning. Today, she primarily works in the wedding and event industry, where her organizational skills and calm, solutions-focused approach help create seamless experiences.
With a strong background in visual arts and organization, Cailee specializes in creating functional, beautifully streamlined spaces tailored to each client’s unique needs. While she appreciates a satisfying before-and-after transformation, her greatest reward is helping clients feel less overwhelmed—whether through a flawlessly executed event, an organized pantry, or a system that simply makes daily life easier.
An Enneagram 7w8, Cailee brings energy, optimism, and adaptability to everything she does. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her laughing with friends and family, traveling, eating queso, at a comedy show, or gathered around a table playing games. -
